Costanza Gastaldi

Costanza Gastaldi is an Italian artist-photographer. She lives and works in Paris. After a passage in preparatory school, she studied at the school of Gobelins, then joined a master in Sciences of Arts and Letters at the University of Sorbonne from which she graduated with honors in 2017.
From then on, her activity is divided between her plastic research, the organization of her photographic expeditions (such as on the Chinese mountains or above the Arctic Circle, in the white desert) as well as the realization of her exhibitions which assume more and more an immersive side, touching all our senses, integrating to the photographic object sensory installations.
The artist is currently represented by Novalis Art Design (Hong Kong), by Kahmann Gallery (Amsterdam) and by SITDOWN Gallery (Paris).
Despite his young age, the artist’s work has already been presented numerous times at international fairs such as Shanghai PhotoFair, Fine Art Asia, Inkasia, PAN Amsterdam, Haute Photography, ArtParis and will also be presented at ParisPhoto in November 2022.
In addition, Costanza was a resident at the Festival Planches Contact, in Deauville. Several of her series have been shown in solo and group exhibitions, including “Alba Alata” at Novalis Art Design (HK): “Loto Nero” at the Catherine and André Hug Gallery during the Photo Saint Germain Festival (Paris); “Land Escape” at Kahmann Gallery (Amsterdam); "Woman by Woman" at Kahmann Gallery (Amsterdam); “New Collectibles” at Kahmann Gallery (Amsterdam).
In 2023, her photographic wanderings as well as her sensitive vision of the landscape will be the subject of her first Monograph entitled “Loto Nero” published by Atelier EXB.
