Arquitectonica

Arquitectonica is an international architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and urban planning studio based in Miami with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Manila, Lima, and São Paulo. Arquitectonica was founded in 1977 as an experimental studio founded by Peruvian architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia together with Laurinda Hope Spear, Andrés Duany, Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, and Hervin Romney. The studio is known for its sophisticated surface design, façade articulation, bold use of color, and graphic form. Its characteristic style is a dramatic and expressive “high tech” modernism. Arquitectonica participated in the Memphis Group experience in 1984 with the creation of the Madonna table. Arquitectonica has received hundreds of design awards, and its innovative work has been the subject of exhibitions in numerous museums and institutions.
