Description
“While crossing the Venice lagoon we noticed how metal cage-like structures are used in many ways in the world of seafaring. They protect the lamps on ships and boats, and also appear on buoys and on the wooden posts that mark the navigation channels through the lagoon.
This inspired us to create an aluminium structure surrounding an archetypal glass vase with an opaque glass protuberance and open top like a sort of flower stamen, to hold water and support the stems of flowers.”
