Description
Aramaici was inspired by the ancient Semitic script, Aramaic. The flowing lines floating on the glass surface resemble the delicate script, with breaks between the lines simulating syntax. These lines were left by using the filigrana technique, the glassmaster applies filigrana decoration and then quickly removes it whilst still hot leaving traces of the lines where the external decoration was before.
