Description
Digital modeling data for 3d printing is transmitted to the printer to enable mass production. Individual sculptures that are printed in the same environment are reproduced in the same shape, size, and color with pinpoint accuracy. Immediately after production, the artist directly thermoforms the objets under the same conditions and twists and transforms parts of the sculpture randomly, which allows the sculpture to transform into a freely upward curve. This handwork process, which is close to handicraft, gives individual identities to those that were standardized through digital reproduction. This also shows each uniqueness and possibility of transfiguration, even though things around us became standardized due to the influence of modern technology and civilization. The artist wishes the audience to imagine and dream a lot in this connection without stopping at the end of the delicate line.
