RAOUl GILIOLI, The Source

Description

Through a hidden sensor, camouflaged within the artwork, the spectator can activate an essence vaporizer. The vapor contains a mix of scents created by the artist: sulphur, musk, bark, beech wood. The vapor cloud that surrounds the artwork represents the impetuous gushing of the sulphur source which involves the spectator in a primordial experience.
